Objetivos

Upon the successful completion of this course, students will be able to name, ask for and describe common products on sale at a shoe store. By using simple routines in a familiar situation, students will learn how to greet customers, ask them what they need, and make polite recommendations. By inferring meaning from context and using interactive exercises to confirm understanding, students will practice listening skills and complete sample dialogues that consolidate the vocabulary in the topic. Students will complete written exercises that will demonstrate their capability to confidently contrast the written and oral form of the vocabulary found in conversations between a customer and a sales person at work in a shoe store. Students will complete exercises and monitor their progress, which will encourage reflection and self-assessment.
